Construction Update
Due to construction now under way at Fairview Lakes Medical Center, effective immediately
individuals using emergency and urgent care services will use a new temporary emergency
entrance for the next 14 months.
Located on the south side of the medical center near the main hospital/clinic entrance, the
temporary emergency entrance is easy to access from the main drive where a new emergency
patient drop-off has been created.
(See diagram)
When the new temporary emergency
entrance opened, the old emergency entrance on the north side of the building closed.
Parking for emergency/urgent care patients is provided on the east side of the building.
(See diagram)
Ambulances will continue to enter through a specially designated ambulance entrance.
Fairview Lakes President Dan Anderson explains, "The temporary emergency entrance will
remain in use for the next 12-18 months as we expand emergency, urgent care, surgical and
diagnostic services at Fairview Lakes Medical Center. We are working hard to minimize the
impact of construction on our patients as we strive to continue to improve patient care. We
welcome your comments and suggestions."
